Beijing Tech Companies Post 2,400+ Open Computer and IT Positions
Daily refreshes on local platforms show continued demand for software engineers and AI positions in Haidian district.
How we reported this
Beijing currently lists more than 2,400 open Computer and IT positions, with at least 50 roles added each day on platforms tracking the sector.
The volume matters because Beijing set a 2026 target to hold its surveyed urban unemployment rate at or below 5 percent while creating over 12 million new urban jobs citywide. The city also aims for gross regional product growth near 5 percent and R&D spending above 6 percent of GRP, priorities that keep technology hiring visible even as national graduate numbers reach 12.7 million this year.
Campuses and Roles in Haidian
Microsoft maintains its China headquarters in Haidian district, the center of the city’s technology industry. SAP lists 10 technology openings there, including Solution Advisor positions tied to AI incubation and Project Associate roles open to candidates with zero to three years of experience. Hitachi Energy advertises a Quality Manager post on the same district campuses. Common titles include software engineer, IT engineer, data analyst and AI solution builder.
These employers operate research, cloud computing and AI teams that draw on the district’s concentration of research institutions and startups. Most positions require full-time onsite attendance and Mandarin proficiency alongside technical certifications.
Pay Ranges and Application Routes
Internships at prominent firms pay 300 to 500 yuan per day. Mid-level technical marketing roles reach 15,000 to 25,000 yuan per month. Niche creative positions, such as video production, list annual pay between 10,000 and 20,000 yuan. Local job seekers report stronger results on Boss直聘 and 脉脉 than on international platforms.
Candidates should prepare targeted applications that highlight Mandarin skills and relevant certifications, then monitor daily refreshes on Chinese recruitment sites for the latest openings in software development and data analysis.
